I attended the Small Cats Symposium last week and wanted to send a quick thank you for your facilitation and support. I didn't present myself but was present for all and was super impressed with your quick feedback and IT support to the speakers. Genuinely one of the best virtual symposiums I have attended!
I look forward to the next Africa Massive-hosted events!
Meghan P. Keating (Wildlife and Fisheries Biology, Clemson University)
I just wanted to drop you a line to provide some very positive feedback of my conference experience last week.
It was my first ever virtual conference so wasn't sure what to expect but I found it was exceptionally well organised by the Africa Massive team and very professional.
I thoroughly enjoyed the full week, and I would definitely attend future virtual conferences following this.
Thank you again to you and the team for such a well organised and managed event!
Julie Dickin (Delegate: 1st Global Leopard Conference)
africaMASSIVE is such a great organization to collaborate with and I appreciate all your hard work so much. The team exudes a welcoming and truly committed professionalism - no question is ever silly, and no request is an inconvenience.
The whole Cape Leopard Trust team is really looking forward to next week. It's going to be amazing and I'm so proud that we did this with you.
Dr. Katy Williams (Research & Conservation Director, Cape Leopard Trust)
When I first envisioned the global leopard conference idea, just before Covid, the thought of putting together an in-person event and all the dynamics that go with it was quite daunting. It's one of the two reasons why I'm actually grateful for the pandemic! First, people actually noticed nature and wildlife. Second, it opened an opportunity for us to rethink the conference model, making it possible to host a virtual, environmentally friendly event, resulting in a low carbon footprint, and ensuring that no leopard project across the globe is discriminated against because they can't afford to attend an in-person event.
We really appreciate the professional support invested by africaMASSIVE to enable the 1st Global Leopard Conference to run seamlessly, and I can say without a doubt that we are all really looking forward to the big day. Let's hope we can create an amazing legacy that will help us protect leopards around the world.
Helen Turnbull (Chief Executive Officer, Cape Leopard Trust)
I hope you've recovered somewhat from the very intense African Wild Dogs United conference. Congratulations on such an amazingly successful conference. The africaMASSIVE team was amazing! You did a fantastic job facilitating and keeping everyone on track and that's just the part I saw - I know that wasn't close to everything you both did during the conference. I've been to a lot of conferences, none virtual, and this was the best ever, by far. A huge accomplishment. Really an amazing job and thank you so much! No question, we're all going to want to attend the next one.
Maureen Reilly (President & Director, Tech 4 Conservation)
Thank you so very much for this, wow! I actually cannot believe we all pulled this off. It was a fantastic conference and you guys were “next level” amazing!!! The feedback I received from delegates was all so very positive and I’m so grateful to you both. I will most certainly be using your company again.
Thanks again and all the very best!
Prof. Ray Jansen (Conference Chair: 2nd International Pangolin Conference)
My co-chair, Alexis and I, would like to extend our grateful thanks to africaMASSIVE for the smooth facilitation of our conference, the 2nd International Pangolin Conference! You were both (Angus and Ralph) so accommodating of people with queries and issues and ensured that the technical side of the hybrid event ran smoothly. Truly impressive! The accommodation, meals, bush braai, and service in general, was superb. We have only had positive feedback which is great. Our thanks, again, and take care.
Nicci Wright (Co-Chairperson: African Pangolin Working Group | Director: Johannesburg Wildlife Veterinary Hospital)
“It was a really great experience. The organization was perfect, the courses and presentations were really useful for my research work, the location was wonderful, and the possibility to meet new people and researchers interested in the same research field as I is invaluable. Thank you again, and I hope to see you in the next editions!”
Prof. Francisco Javier Pérez (Visiting Professor at Rey Juan Carlos University, Spain)
"I just want to personally thank you for making our trip to Port Elizabeth so fantastic! All the arrangements were wonderful, and I felt so relaxed in your beautiful country. It was a dream as a child to visit Africa, and I’m feeling so overjoyed to have made that journey.
I will definitely recommend your services to interested visitors."
Nancy Cordy (Leisure Travel Client)
"I was introduced to Angus Morton of africaMASSIVE to facilitate our A1, Q3 and Q8 launch at our dealership in Centurion. Having three launches in one is not the norm in the motor industry but being the trail blazers we are at Audi Centre Centurion we put it to the test and Angus was given the opportunity to express his creative side and impress our sceptical expectations. Well all I can say is WOW (yes capital letters) he blew us away. Not only was the level of service, professional and the offerings of so many available aspects that we could choose from unbelievable, it was ultimately the sheer enthusiasm it was done with that really made Angus an absolute pleasure to work with. I would recommend AfricaMASSIVE and him to anyone out there that wants to take on any activation, promotional launch or any other type of event or travel that they require. In fact I have already asked him to assist us with the launch of the brand new A4 and A6 in the first half of 2020
Bart Hettema (Dealer Principal, Audi Centre Centurion)

Their pro-active guidance, detailed planning, excellent logistics and attention to detail ensured that our conference was a resounding success!…And all was done with a smile! I can certainly recommend the africaMASSIVE team for delivery of end-to-end conference requirements!”

Fraser Shilling (International Conference on Ecology & Transportation Organizer, USA)
“The Endangered Wildlife Trust (EWT), a registered South African non-profit (registration number NPO 015-502), hosted an international conference – the African Conference for Linear Infrastructure and Ecology (ACLIE; co-hosted by EWT and Eskom) from the 10-15 March 2019 in the Kruger National Park, South Africa. africaMASSIVE were the facilitators of the event and were critical to the conference’s success. As the first conference of its kind for the continent, africaMASSIVE was involved since ACLIE’s inception in 2017. They undertook the bulk of the organisation (pre-, during and post-conference) with professionalism and efficiency. I will definitely be working with them again for future conferences.”
Wendy Collinson-Jonker (ACLIE Chair: Local Organising Committee | Wildlife and Transport Programme Manager - Endangered Wildlife Trust, South Africa)
“We would like to extend a huge thank you to the team at africaMASSIVE, without whom the Raptors Research Foundation Conference at Skukuza would not have been the huge success that it was. They were an absolute pleasure to work with and their dedicated team looked after us right throughout the planning stages and into the actual event taking place. Their knowledge and insights assisted us greatly in our decision making and delivering an exceptionally high standard of conference for The Raptors Research Foundation. We can highly recommend Angus, Magda and their team for superior client service and making your event a successful one.”
André Botha - Endangered Wildlife Trust
“I am pleased to share that africaMASSIVE did a wonderful job of conference planning and implementation for the Raptor Research Foundation (RRF). RRF is an international scientific society based in the US whose primary goal is the accumulation and dissemination of scientific information about raptors (eagles, falcons, vultures, owls and more). Held in 2018 in Kruger National Park, South Africa with Endangered Wildlife Trust and BirdLife South Africa as local hosts, we had 275 delegates from 41 countries participating. RRF employed africaMASSIVE to handle the details, include creating and managing the conference website, handling registrations and finances, communicating with delegates, arranging for field trips, managing the budget and more. Our conference was a huge success, thanks in large part to the partnership RRF forged with africaMASSIVE!”
Dan Varland (Conference Committee Chair, Raptor Research Foundation, USA)

“Thank you for the super service delivered by your team. Magda and Jacques did a great job and it looked really festive. They were professional, pleasant and did the set-up like professionals. Sometimes the logistics didn't want to work, which did not concern them at all. They made alternative plans, re-arranged things and everything worked perfectly.”
Debbie Thomson (CSIR, South Africa)
“What a pleasure working with such a professional, well organised and competent team at African Massive! From the day we started planning the African Conference for Linear Infrastructure and Ecology (ACLIE) 2019 conference, Angus, Magda and the team assisted the Endangered Wildlife Trust every step of the way in arranging a very successful conference.”
Constant Hoogstad - Endangered Wildlife Trust
“The success of the 2018 Annual Conference can largely be attributed to the decision to contract africaMASSIVE to take responsibility for the arrangement and management of the entire conference. The company provided excellent service and, because of their ability to do similar work internationally, can be recommended for any similar conferences in future.”
